    As hard as it is to do, always back out asap when your not sure on your shot. Finding blood will be tough. I would look in areas in the direction he was heading near water or low lying areas where a stream or a valley is . They seem to head to those areas when they are dying. Ive gut shot two big bucks in my time, one was in the 180's and one 160's. One, I tracked all night, on my hands and knees looking for blood, pushed him 3 miles and he was still alive after 8 hours following him. The second, I was smart, backed out, asap , found him 40 yards away next to a stream the next day dead. Good luck man, never give up looking! You will find him.
