I was looking through the new Gander MTN catalog and and I see Primos Deer Dropin's. These are poo shaped pellets that supposedly release scent over time in a scrape. Wow is all I have to say. What will they think of next.

Seems like a pretty good idea to me. The deer won't spook from the sight of it.

Yeah, but how effective can the scent be?

I plan on getting real poo and dirt from scrapes from my BILs deer farm! If anyone else would like some I would be happy to mail out a zip lock bag of poo or pissed on dirt overnight mail during the rut. FOR FREE!

Hunters specialties used to sell scrape dirt. I have a hard time paying $10 for an ounce of piss, I'm not paying another $10 for the dirt that they pissed on.

I'm thinking that getting some from another buck might work well. If bruiser smells pee from another buck in his scrape he may come looking!
