I have been with my girlfriend 3 1/2 years and in that time I have gradually been getting her interested in hunting. It started with trips to Bass Pro which progressed into a trip to the deer and turkey classic. Then this weekend I was shocked when she asked to come with me to the hunting property to check trail cams. She loved being in the woods especially when we got to watch a few deer. She wanted to get in my treestands and it was almost impossible to get her to come down. She sat with me for 2 hours going through the trail cam pictures and I think she may have been more excited than me every time a buck popped onto the screen. The real shock came yesterday when she asked to go to Bass Pro. As soon as we walked in she headed straight for the women's hunting gear. She grabbed what she wanted and when I asked why she was getting it she said she was going to need some camo so she could go hunting with me in October. I didn't think it was possible to be any more excited for October.

Nice. My wife just got into archery her self. I bought her a jewel and she loves it. She can pull 50 pretty easy too so hunting will be in the cards soon!

I looked at a few of the women's bows at Bass Pro. I think this is the first time I have a Christmas present idea before 12/24

Thats cool Woody, Ha Ha... only problem now is everything is going to cost you double! My wife has more hunting and fly fishing stuff than I do.

I am not sure I would advise this video as a way to get your wife or g/f interested or not, it is a nice one though.

 every time I mention hunting or something in relation to it I get the look of death.

    That's awesome though for you.

Been married 43 years and my wife can't get me out of the house fast enough to go hunting. Not that she goes... only me. She loves venison and is a terrific cook (but I think maybe she has a beau).
