Congratulations Will on another fine and successful hunt , take my hat off too ya on the Buck and Doe . As usual , thanks for sharing the great pictures Buddy . PS i need dates for next years Elk camp ?? ASAP
Glad you got there safely, sounds like a nasty blizzard. Amazing pics Will and congrats on a very nice buck. You definitely get it done on your adventures. Nice shot too!
Thanks everyone. What made this hunt such an adventure is the "diving into it totally blind" aspect. South Dakota offers a tremendous amount of National Forest and state public land to hunt. It is there for the taking if you're willing to go. The tags are reasonably inexpensive and deer and turkey seem to be everywhere! Sure, you cannot set up trail cams when you live hundreds of miles away, but you can set goals-an eight or a 120 incher or bigger, for example. The scenery is simply breathtaking! The people in SD are some of the friendiest folks on the planet. I am convinced, you have not lived unless you've visited Rollie's garage in Spearfish! This place should be on the National Historic Registry-it is indeed the mother of all man caves! I wish someone would hurry up and build one of those "beam me up Scottie" thingy ma jiggers.
Way to go Will!! Congrats on the double and nice looking buck! As always fantastic pics, thanks for sharing!
Glad you got there and back safely Will. Congrats on the deer. It looks like the white knuckle drive was worth it.
