Pretty non eventful story. Doe presented me a perfect broadside shot at approx 25 yds so I took it.

I used the bloodrunner BH for the first time. I certainly don't have anything negative about the BH as it did its job, but nothing special either.

A solid pass thru with plenty to spare based on the distance the arrow traveled afterward.

A double lung shot with an adequate blood trail but nothing like I usually get with a Rage. I would say it was what I typically get from a Muzzy 3 blade, sparse at times and never massive until the very end, but good enough.

While I couldn't see the deer past about the first 40 yards she ran, the deer ran approx 125 yards, stopped momentaily (based on massive blood coming from both sides), went about 5 more yards and expired.

I prefer the Rage, but again nothing negative and the pass thru was just like a conventional fixed.

A solid BH choice if that is what your looking for, IMO. There wasn't much of a blood trail, but I am betting she died within 15-20 seconds of being shot. Based on what I saw where it appeared she did stop, I would venture to say that the blood trail would have been more than adequate had the shot been marginal and had the trail continued.

Not that you can tell a whole lot from them, but I attached a picture of the entry/exit holes.
