Wow..... bow hunting season must be getting fairly close. I see the annual BHC deer hunting contest sign up is now underway, the individual challenge threads are underway, people are mentioning they are starting to build arrows, tune bows and shoot more. Activity on the site seems to have picked up a touch. It's a great time of year knowing it won't be much longer and we all will be in a tree. A little over two months away and it is coming quick.
Kinda like the pre-rut, we got us the pre-hunt starting up. A little sooner than usual, must be that global warming thing messing with our minds! HA! By the time the season gets here, there be fecal matter being slung all over the place! Just remember to duck!
Yep, the boards always seem to pick up around this time of year. I'm posting this from the beach, and while I'm enjoying the summer, the season is always in the back of my mind.
Just mowed my plots this past week. Next week I will spray and then get ready to till. We're on the downhill slide folks.
I've been re-fletching the old arrows, getting ready to buy a new dozen and shooting a lot more lately. With only 61 days to go, it is approaching fast!
Oct. 1 is opening day for bow season in ARK. and it's on a Friday for once! Can't wait to spend the whole weekend in the woods.
oct.1st is opening day for bow season here, rifle runs from mid october to mid november. as a first time bow hunter i'm very excited for this years season!!
MN bow opens sept 18th, cant wait, but my season may be cut a little short, have a future bow hunting great being born oct 1ST! poor planning, i know, but this way he can get a birthday buck!
