    Great catch. They usually start shedding the velvet about the same time in Ky. I've seen rubs as early as Sept 1st.

    That's awesome! I think we have a great year of hunting ahead of us with the mild summer and temperatures already dropping at night on a regular basis!

    With the Dark Periods at the beginning of the months this fall, doesn't surprise me one bit they're gonna shed a touch earlier than considered "normal" time. It's coming fellas!!!
