here's the 8 point, and you can see the rest of my trophy collection on the "wall of shame" minus the 6 point from last year.

I will limit this to just two bucks, these choices are not based on the score of the bucks but rather on the details and or memories of a great hunt or situation.

October 17th 2009... I named him the "Baby Carter" buck after my newborn son :)

I have a nice 10 pointer on the wall but one deer that means the most to me is this 9 pointer. Thanks to my little princess, she gave me a kiss and a hug and said dad kill me a buck today! I went out and this is the guy I came home with after letting him walk 2 times in beginning of november then filmed him walk by. I then let him walk the day I killed him then 45 minutes went by and I ended up taking him. He just crossed me to many times to live!

For me personally... it is this buck...

I shot this buck Jan. 5th, 2009. I had put my new Reconyx RC60 out for the first time on Jan. 1st and when I checked it around noon on the 5th I noticed that there were several different small bucks passing by daily in the evenings. I knew that the late archery season would end in 3 days and I could only hunt the evening of the 5th. I set up my stand near where the camera was and had little to no hope as late season in PA has got to be the absolute hardest whitetail hunting in the country. Much to my suprise, I saw three bucks that evening and ended up shooting one that I had captured on the Reconyx that morning!

First bow kill (after 3 years). It will be tough for this desk jockey to do better where I hunt. I can still remember every detail! Pics suck, the guy who took them saved them wrong on his computer, and deleted the originals.

I killed this deer on my 18th birthday (Oct 6th), 10 minutes before the end of legal shooting hours. I hadn't seen a deer in 3 days of hunting and was feeling a little disappointed as I had to head back to school later that night. I have no idea where he came from as I probably wasn't paying attention. I didn't see him until he was 15 yards away. It was the biggest deer I had killed at that time, and its still the most excited I have ever been to kill a deer.
