So, this is 28 hours after I quit smoking...again...
And I couldn't be more hostile. I really don't understand why.
But I know that I need to quit, therefore I have.

I didn't tell my wife, I am waiting to see how long until she notices. I give her until Sunday.

    Wish me luck.

    Long story short...
Its actually from a different forum. For Jeeps.
They gave that to me because I spent last summer using my Jeep to pull things (mostly bushes) out of the ground.

It kinda fit into this too, because my dad was giving me crap about going into the thickest of the thick, when we were scouting the property. "Bush Hunter"

48 hrs. still nothing. I have made it, and she has not noticed. We don't see each other for very long durring the weekdays. Maybe 15- 20 mins, before I take off for work.
Today she did say something about all of the house work, and laundry, and giving the dog a bath, and cleaning the Jeep last night after work.
She thinks I'm trying to suck up, so she wont get mad about me going hunting. lol.
Not quite, I just get bored, then I do something else.

PS, I am using the "Commit" lozenges, they taste awful. But they seem to work.

Yes she does get on me, about smoking.

    it's been a couple days.

Unfortunatly, today when I took off up north, to hunt, it was a rather irritating day, and I broke. I got one of my dad's (nasty ass, old guy) smokes.

Good news, is that I am right back on, I thought about it, and even with these three days of not smoking, it wasn't as hard as the first time, and I am still in high hopes that I will succeed this time. :whip:

PS: Hunting sucked today. But, I did get to try my safety harness.

Quit torturing yourself, and go buy yourself some patches.

After 10 years of smoking, I quit using the patch system. It works and it works well, I would recommend to anyone that is serious about it. Only advice I can give is to read the directions and follow them. Don't move through the levels of patches too quickly, it's tempting but everyone I know that did this failed.

    Best of luck!

Dad smokes. So, hunting scent free does not really work. I just dont wear my camo until I get there. We put them in trashbags, then a rubbermaid container. We also spray down alot when we get dressed.
When I smoke, I take off the first layer or two. even then, I spray down. But rarely do I smoke durring hunting. Maybe a couple on the way, then afterwards, or if we are taking a longer than usual break to "Warm up".

I also use the Primos Mouth spray. I don't know if it helps, but mentally, I like to think so. i will ask the next deer that I kiss?:d

I used the patch when I was in the marines,
It gave me some WICKED nightmares. Then I just stopped using it.
I can't be surrounded by people that smoke, and try to quit. that did not work.

I did quit for 5 or 6 weeks a while back, but everyone (mom) kept asking me about it, and the more I heard about it, the harder it was, then I broke because I was trying to stay awake while driving somewhere.
