    Congrats on the deer, :tu: now make sure you really do LEARN from the mistakes of this one. But savor a little back strap too. That first one is getting a huge gorilla off of your back, then it all seems a little easier.

    Dubbya you were right! Had my first taste of my first ever deer tonight and loved every bite of it! Had the pleasure of getting to relax out on my balcony by myself listening to the fish jump and rain gently fall. Don't think I could have had it any better!!!

    Ya, found one of the packs was smaller then most and since I am up North by myself it looked like a wonderful dinner! Truely enjoyed every minute and bite of it!

    Congrats man! I am glad to hear you found it. "I" know how it feels to make a bad shot. Not a pleasant feeling.
