i never would have thought red fox were so dumb.....

As i was shedding today i saw a ferril cat being chased by a fox. The cat saw me but the fox didnt. About a half hour later i walked within 5' of that fox. He never knew i was there untill i snapped a pic of him and the sound of my cam on my phone went off. This is the second time this week i got within 5' of a red fox.

 

Buddy if mine was sitting in a stand on one of my hunting properties a couple seasons back. Had a red fox sit 15yd behind him and started yelping at him. This went on for a good 15 minutes and well, it was fox season. 7mm cut him a flip.

Cool pic, honestly don't think they are dumb. You are more stealthy than you think.

 

I have done the same thing before. Never even heard or saw me till I scared him. Sometimes they just sit back and relax I guess

 

Wow. He was really concentrated on that cat.
