because I have to pass on bucks like this. :) Action was slow this evening so I decided to grunt a few times. Seconds later, I see this guy coming my way. I didn't realize when I began calling that he was passing through the area. The grunts definitely brought him in for a closer look. He was downwind of me the entire time. He stood at 25 yards (with his head behind a tree) for about a minute presenting me with a perfect shot. He was an 8pointer, maybe 100" or better. Sorry, the quality sucks but its just a small digicam. Also had a raccoon come under my stand before dark.

I've had more shots at bucks this year than does.

Why are you grunting? You need to get a doe first!

I know, Andy. Actually, I haven't grunted since the middle of October when I got my first buck. I didn't want to be put in this situation. But it was slow and I figured, what the hell. He never spotted me. I'm going to hunt all day tomorrow with hopes of getting that doe.

That pic isn't that big of a deal. I actually posted that one time before on another thread. You caught me off guard though because I thought my album was already locked. :busted:
