In the last month, I finally (at 50), had to accept the real;ity that I needed to wear glasses, and not just for reading.....so I got some glasses and in truth my shooting has improved greatly at targets out past 20 yards....I can shoot consisstantly at 30 and 40 now....(not that I will shoot at an animal at 40) but any way here is my problem...

If I'm wearing a mask, my glasses fog up, leaving me blind.

For my upcoming weekend, I will wear the camo paste stuff....., so how do the guys/gals who wear glasses deal with fogging up ?

    Thanks!!!!

    SB

It is a hassle. You can buy de-fog specifically for eye glasses. I'm about to get Lasik surgery and can't wait to get rid of glasses. It is very annoying walking to your stand or up the side of the mountain and having them fog over. Heaven forbid I forget them in the morning and try to hunt!

    Some advice for you youngsters.

When I was a young man...I felt like I was invincible and superman.....I made fun of everyone and everybody.....The good Lord has a way of making you pay.

Don't make fun of anyone or anything......

I switched from glasses to contacts last year. No more fogging. Now I just have to deal with my eyes getting all dried out and irritable whenever the wind is more than 1/2 mile an hour. I can't afford Lasik and my insurance won't cover it. Gettin' old sucks but it beats the alternative.

I've got the same problem, no glasses the distance vision is still OK, but my pins are really blurry. Maybe Lasik next year if I'm a candidate.

    THanks,

I just ran to CVS and bought a fog kit.....

    I'll see how it does....

My vision is still 20/20 at a distance but I can't really see the pins...thus my problem at distances out past 20 yards...with the glasses, I'm good to go and can now actually see them clear enough to set pins at 30 and 40.....

So I hope that the fogger works....

Another issue I have is if I'm wearing a brimmed hat, and I get excited, I fog my glasses up even without a mask on...so...I got a brimless hat, camo makeup and an anti fog kit....

    We shall see tomm. afternoon.
