I need help with arrow shafts

    I was just wondering that if you take a carbon arrow that weighs 10.6 gpi and 31" long and it says it is recomended for bows with a draw weignt of 50-60 lbs was shorten 3.5 inches, would it increase the recomended draw weight for the bow you use for that arrow? Any advise would help. Thanks

    Yeah but sometimes it ruins the warranty on the arrows.

    Shorten the arrow 3.5"? Basically it will increase the stiffness, or spine, of the arrow. As long as you have plenty of broad head clearance regarding your rest it should be just fine.
