I don't see a lot of Martin fans out there... but I just bought an '08 Cheetah... for some reason it felt the best in my hands. I shot Diamond, Bear, Bowtech, PSE and Hoyt as well while trying to decide. And it was like a light switch turned on the first time I drew the Martin back. Was thinking of trying Mission and Mathews, but can't afford Mathews, and once I tried the Cheetah, my mind was made up... Like Illusion Hunter and so many others have said, shoot as many as you can, and you'll KNOW when you've found the right one for you.

I have a Martin Cheetah and like it well as any bow I've ever shot. Plus, it's by far and away the best value for what you get out there.

;):DPSE'S may be known for Speed and HOYT'S may be known for duribility but nothing beats a BOWTECH there the best on the market and also check out the new DIAMOND BLACKICE cause thats another amazing bow believe me......

I have recently shot almost every new bow out there in a search for myself. Personally, I have been drawn to the Bowtechs and Diamonds. Every Bowtech i have picked up has felt good to me. The diamond line is also an amazing line up that can save you some money over the Bowtechs. Minus the Iceman which retails for around 799. I must say that I shot the Iceman the other day and was blown away. It was by far the smoothest and most comfortable bow I have ever shot. Again, this is all my opinion. My brother just bought a 2010 Diamond Black Ice and absolutely loves it. Any of the manufacturers out there now all have amazing bows, it just comes down to your shooting style, preference, and which bow feels the best for you. Get out there and shoot as many as you can and make a decision. Any pro shop or archery counter will be more than willing to let you put some arrows down range and help you out. You are going to find that everybody in the archery world is really easy to get along with and always willing to help. Good Luck!

Anyone that knows anything about archery will tell you to shoot numerous bows and pick the one that feels right. If someone tells you to go with a certain brand name then you should just consider the source. It's usually a dealer trying to push what he shoots or someone who hasn't been in the sport long enough to know much at all. I used to shoot Hoyt and now I'm shooting a PSE, imagine that. I'm shooting better with this bow because of how it feels and fits me better then I ever did with my Hoyts. Take your time and let the only influence on your decision be research, how it feels and how it fits you. Good Luck to ya.

Check out the 09 Elite GT500 I have for sale in the "Bows for Sale or Trade" section...they are some of the best bows out there for sure and the bows have a lifetime warranty...I have killer accesories on it as well...I don't want to get rid of it but have to for reasons I will explain in a PM.
