Here's the scoop. I just bought my first bow, a mathews outback. It has cams that can be either 26.5 or 27 inches. Come to find out im only a 25.5.

I debated switching it down to the 26.5 and removing the loop and then i would be an inch long, but then ide only have a 65% let off. Since its my first bow i could learn to shoot like that and be used to it.

My questions is, is there a cam that would fit my bow that would allow me to get down to 25.5 and still have an 80% let off?

Personally I would start shooting something i'm more comfortable with, you'll learn to appreciate 80% vs. 65%.

I read the outback owners manual, and the smallest cam you can get is the OUTB-ER, which at 26" is 80% let-off. That's only a half inch more than your dl, so you'd probably be alright. At 25.5 it's 65%.

the guide for the outback is on page 4.

I would find an archery shop in your area that sells mathews bows, they'll order them up and install them for you.
