My old release has about a half mile of travel in the trigger, takes it forever to finaly let loose, time for an upgrade...I want one thats more like a good trigger on a rifle, no pre travel & breaks like glass. rather have a hand held VS strap on. Any food for thought ??
Carter's have the best triggers. You can get the Rx1 with the its and this allows the trigger to be very stiff or light with no trigger travel. I suggest a stiff trigger. They are pricey and if that is an issue, the truball short and sweet II has a good trigger at an affordable price. http://www.carterenterprises.com/releases/index-finger-trigger/rx1-a-rx2 http://www.truball.com/ShortNSweet.html Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I know you said you prefer a hand held...I personally love my tru ball outlaw it has a very crisp trigger, it has adjustable length for your finger length simply by untying a knot adjusting the string and retying it. It has the buckle strap so you can take it off and on silently and is very comfortable... just my 2 cents
Didn't read last sentence. I wouldn't want a strap on either.:D Same answer, carter has great triggers on their hand helds as well. You can get a few models with the ITS system. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2

I would check out Carter. I shoot a Carter Chocolate Lite and love it. Travel is adjustable as well as many different spring weights. Its available in a 3 and 4 finger...They have a bunch of other awesome releases too. It all comes down to preference in the end. I'd also try to shoot a couple different ones if you can. I shot a few friends releases firsts and a couple guys in my 3d league let me try the ones they liked as well and I came up with liking the Chocolate Lite the best for me.
Thanks for the input ya'll, been dig'n around & the caters are sound'n pretty good, also think'n maybe a spot hog, hope'n to find a good deal on a used one.
