    Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could get some advice on buying a good, during hunting blind. I have always hunted from treestands, but would like to take a whitetail from the ground next season. I hunt in Iowa but my private ground is about 3 hours from where I live, so I was hoping to find a blind I can brush in and leave out there from Mid-September through Late November. Has anyone owned a blind that is durable enough to leave out in the weather and not get faded or torn up?

The place I am going to use it is in some thick cedar trees on the edge of a small food plot, it is pretty sheltered from high winds and theft is not going to be an issue. I would also like something that my wife and I can both hunt out of comfortably and we can have a little elbow room. We aren't big people, I am only 5'6" and she is only 5'0" so that may give us a slight advantage. Thanks.

Lots of guys like the double bull blinds. They are spacious and blend in well but will cost you a pretty penny. I have two Ameristep ground blinds. The more recent one is the backstrap blind. It is the hub design. Two people easily fit into it and it is very easy to set up and take down. I got it on sale for $110 at Dunhams.

Oh man, my brother and I got an ameristrep (sp?) bone collector blind. We got it at Christmas time but it was $109 and free shipping from ****s.
The key is material, size and window space. Both my brother and I can sit in the blind side by side and shoot our bows, without being in each other's way. Also, the material is thick. This is important. I have an old blind that the material is like nylon. As soon as something rubs it, it gets a hole.

You can spend tons of money, but shop around and you can get a sweet blind for a good price.

Of course if you can wait a season, they will all be on clearance after.
