Go to your local pro shop and have them let you shoot a couple bows. Look into the Mission lineup and Diamond also makes a great bow (Infinite Edge I believe) that you may like

Yes look at the infinite edge by diamond. They keep making it better. It adjusts from 5 to 70 lbs. And from like 14 inch to 29 or 30 inch draw. It will grow with you. It will fit someone that's 8 years old and it will still fit that person at 30 years old. Its a good shooting bow too.

I agree with seangarchery about the infinite edge. It is a great little bow and will fit you for a while.

My neighbor bought his first bow a mission craze when they first came out. He is still shooting it and is dead on. nice thing about them same as the Diamond edge is infinate draw leangth and poundage adjustment. for the shooter as they mature and develop the muscle for more poundage

As said before I would go to your local archery shop and shoot a bunch of different bow.I would definetly give Mission a hard look they got some great bows for the hunter on a budget..I am shooting the same bow as your neighbor and it is one sweet little bow.
