I just bought a 5-hub blind and I've been using one of those fold-out walmart chairs but its not exactly made for shooting a bow out of it. I need a good blind bench or chair preferably a bench so i can take my son or wife with me. is there any out there that is not to tall or not to short ? i got a 30" draw length and i need some room to pull back and high enough to where i wont shoot a hole in my blind ?

I like the cheapest of the cheap of the fold out chairs. (the ones without arm rests)

I like the Double Bull stools. I have a couple of them and while not perfect they work nicely most of the time.

I have seen some stools that cost close $200 and while they look nice I personally would Not spend that much for a stool.

I bought a rack-pack by magnus. It's a backpack on which you can carry your blind then converts into a very comfortable chair with a headrest.A little pricey at 159-169 however I bought mine on e-bay for around 132 including shipping.I love mine.

SB, The Rack pack is a nice option and at least the fact that it is dual purpose partially justifies the cost.

There are stools alone that cost more than that.

I have a couple of these as well and they work fine and are very portable.

Ameristep blind chairs and stools work great and are well priced, Also just the bag style chairs work great but can be tough to shoot from due to the angle you sit in you must move to get in a shooting position. I have also used the clam icefishing chair it has a nice backrest and is easy to shoot from and comfortable with pockets to store and carry gear is sweet

The stool that I found that works the best is the Huntmore. It costs a little but the legs are adjustable and the seat is really comfortable. It is built to last so should last you a long time.

A bucket with a swivel seat

I can't believe no one has mentioned something like this yet:

    A 5-gallon bucket and a swivel seat.

I got mine from Fleet Farm for $9. It keeps my butt warm, has a couple of inches of foam for comfort, swivels silently and I can use the bucket as extra storage (scent proof at that).

Without a doubt, get a Huntmore stool. Yes, you're going to pay a pretty penny for it but it is the best chair/stool for hunting out of blind and it's going to last you for years to come. I've hunted off the ground for many years from folding chairs, buckets, and those cheap noisey swivel stools from Ameristep and other companies. They're all junk! Uncomfortable, noisey, hard to carry, etc.

The Huntmore is dead silent, has huge feet compared to the other brands so they won't sink in the mud as easily, an adjustable back rest, and comes in it's own bag for carrying. Yes, I know it's expensive. But the way I look at it, we don't blink at spending $200 on a treestand for those same features, why cheap out on a stool? Get one now and be done with it - otherwise you're going to get a cheap one and then wish you spend the money after you sit in it a few times!

Very Versatile!! Great Chair! Pack makes it easy to carry the blind, etc. in & out. Price is very competetive at $149.

    Go get them Thunder Chickens!!:)
