Well, I don't know for sure if it's a trespasser or not but I will find out. I Just happened to look up and some dude is sitting in a tree w/ a x-bow about 67 yrds away.

He has to know I'm here (noisy on my walk in) but he doesn't know if I know he's there. Ill see what happens at dark. I wonder if he'll stay in the tree until I get down. It might be a long night.

Oh...and I've been known to chase down a trespasser or three. :)

I'm assuming its private land, but is it yours or someone else's? If its someone else's then maybe he's got permission. If not, i expect nothing less than a sportscenter top 10 worthy tackle on this guy! Trespassers are one of the few people i hold no respect for whatsoever.

After Reading the Artical about that Game Warden being found dead in LA, I would be careful... I hate trespassers as much as the next guy but there are a lot crazies out there. If this guy doesn't have a problem with trespassing he might do anything to keep from getting caught.

I called my warden friend but he's a couple counties away. He asked if I wanted him to get another warden over here, I said no. What if this guy does have permission and I send the calvary in on him?

This is private land (my companies land) but I've ran off trash before. He just did a series of grunts. So now I'm wondering, is he stupid to potentially give away his location, doesn't know I'm here, or really just trying to legally kill a deer? I don't know.

At dark, I'm going to wait until he lowers his x-bow to the ground and walk over there while he climbs down. He's in a climber and I'm in the lone wolf. Ill go over to "apologize" and see who he is.

Well, just got settled back into the stand. Turns out the guy works for the company and in my building no less. Nice guy. He made me very suspicous climbing down at prime time. I actually got within 15 yards of him before he knew I was there. He never knew I was even in the stand either. :)

Here's a link to my first successful treaspasser capture from a couple years back...for anyone interested.

Yes, he has permission but not sure why he got down early. He was noisier than hell too during his descent. Also, he was probably freaked out seeing me WITH an arrow nocked stalking up to 15 yards from him. :)

In all the excitement, I lost a damn nockturnal.
