There are worse things you could spend your money on for sure.

I used to buy a lot more. I've since invested in good quality gear and have no need to upgrade or change unless a want arises.

Bingo! I like to buy once and cry once! I try to make sure I get my money's worth of use out of anything I buy.

I have four and my wife bemoans the fact that hunting must be a genetic issue.

I would estimate my newest early season camo to be around 12 years old (I also still have some predator camo from 20 years ago).

I think my newest colder weather camo is 8 years old.

They all still do the job just fine :)

I do have a pretty good inventory of long underwear and mid-layers though

I am the total opposite, I don't buy anything. The newest hunting related thing I own is my bows, and they are 7 years old now. I bought 2 dozen arrows right around the same time and am down to I think 7, damn deer keep breaking them! More arrows will be my next purchase, that and new bowstrings, even though they look fine it's making me nervous that they are 7 years old.

Addiction frequently runs in the family. My kids appear to have dodged the bullet though. Guess I didn't get them out there enough when they were young.

I didn't want think about how much I've spent. Now you brought it to my attention:
    January2015 : Mathews Switchback used $300,
    Speed bug bit.
    End of January:
Mathews Chill-R set up & rigged out $1400
Did good till January 2016: Bear Arena 30 set up & rigged out $1000
End of January 2016: Hoyt Nitrium Turbo set up & rigged out $1200
Middle of March: Pse Drive (this one was a trade) arrows, sight & rest $420

And this is not counting new release, Broadheads
    & other arrows or targets.

    Please make it stop!!!

You married? If not get married. If you already are married tell the wife she cannot buy any more shoes or purses. Guaranteed that solves your problem.

I'm the same. I'm always looking to improve my chances in the woods and many time end up just returning the crap I've bought.

Whenever my wife questions my addiction I say its better than sitting at the end of the bar pissing my money away. In her mind she knows how much I love being in the outdoors and you cant put a price on happiness.
