Until yesterday I had never shot or owned a matthews bow.....I set up my new Heli-m yesterday and split one of my easton axis shafts after less than a dozen shots! Overall I love the bow....the only thing I dont care for is it has a small amount of hand shock...but it is very smooth and VERY accurate

Congrats! I've been eyeing them lately but need to stop. I'm a few years out.

Also congrats on the robin hood, it's fun but it will get old and expensive if you keep that up.

Bought my first Mathews last season. An MR7. It shoots like a dream. Still won't say Mathews is all I'll ever buy, a good bow is a good bow no matter what name is slapped on the limbs, but this one is sick

I got to shoot a heli-m the other day, and I was thinking that it would be the best bow I would ever shoot, until 2 seconds later I shot a hoyt carbon element, and to me, it felt 10 times better and smoother. The draw was smooth, then when you touch the release, it kinda surprises you cause you feel nothing. No shock, no bounce, barely any sound. Amazing bow.

    Love my Mathews MR7.
Took a nice Arapawa Ram yesterday in NZ after many hard stalks at 67yds because I had so much confidence in this bow. Piled up 30yds later.
    Love the Mathews.

    It is an amazing bow.

To the OP, everyone is different and I am glad you like your bow.
