I will NEVER put off Christmas shopping until the last couple days before Christmas. Man I've never been so stressed, pissed, annoyed, confused, bewildered, stunned, astonished, dismayed, etc.. in my life. I can't even begin to describe it or pinpoint certain events over the last couple days of my shopping.

I've been smacked by about 15 shopping carts. Stuff fallen on my head. Talked to and attempted to talk to 100 "employees" that are like talking to a rock. Stood in lines a mile long with 17 other registers closed. Drove around parking lots for hours looking for a place within 4 miles to park. Sneezed on. Bumped into. Spent about $150 in gas. No idea how much on presents (i'd double it if someone did it for me). Actually found myself running from place to place and to my truck to get to the next store I had to go to. I don't think you should sweat and hyperventilate shopping. And my all time favorite thing to deal with while shopping...............................

When I'm flying down an aisle trying to get in and out of a crowded store and people are totally oblivious to the rest of the world. Just stop in the middle of wherever they feel like looking around aimlessly. Then you have to wait for the oncoming traffic to subside so you can get around them. At that point they decide to move again.

I've had it... done shopping. Now I get to wrap the stupid crap! If that's not pouring salt in the wounds.

God I wish I could just go back to the woods and sit in a treestand.

Merry Christmas ... where's the tylenol

    I don't do it...

    ...anymore.

As we all have gotten older the need to give gifts for Christmas has diminished. So what we do is to take the cash that we would have spent on gifts and donate that to a charity if the family name. Then we celebrate Christmas as it was intended, by celebrating with family and friends.

hmmmmmmm very interesting. I wait too long though. Wouldn't be shipped in time.

Actually I kind of impressed myself. I got my shopping done, hunted the morning and afternoon, skinned , butchered and packaged 3 deer, made 18 lbs. of summer sausage in 2 days. Quite the balancing act

Yeah if I didnt get it done before October there is no way I'm getting it done once hunting starts (until it's over) . Hence the problem.

LOL yes Jay it is an annual event for NYBH. I'll just never learn I guess. The funny thing is I know it's coming and still do it to myself.
