My passion for bowhunting has always driven me through good times and bad. When bad things in life have happened I always thought " Just need to make it to season in one piece". The good news this year is after three weeks in the hospital and two days home relaxing I talk the wife into an afternoon hunt. Had a friend walk with me to my stand to make sure I was up settled and good to go.

3:45 First doe walks out at 21 yards, shot..........doe ran 40 yards and piled up. Decided to hang out since buddy was hunting and did not want to bust the woods out getting down.

4:30 Second bigger doe walks within 37 yards, same result................ran 40 yards and down.

Never give up, never start thinking you can not do it !!!!

Not Bad for a guy who spent 3 weeks in hospital, came home, shot a dozen practice arrows and climbed back up in a tree. Crappy picture but best I could get.
