    ...it snows in the South.

    People freaking out everywhere.

Stores being ransacked by people preparing for the apocalypse. Businesses shutting down early do to the "horrific" driving conditions.

It's not even sticking to the ground.

    It's all quite humorous.

Jim, did you survive the Great Blizzard of 2009?

I have so far. The majority of it is to the south of me. Wednesday at work we had snow flurries at about 9 a.m. I walked out onto our shop floor to see only 50 of the 160 employees working. The other 110 were all standing around watching it snow and talking about how it was going to take them 2 hours to get home when it usually takes them 15 minutes:rolleyes:. I simply laughed because little did they realize it was 38 degrees outside and it wasn't sticking. I actually made it home in record time that evening because everyone left work early to make sure they made it home before dark. It usually takes me 55 minutes to get home, I made it in 48;).

The majority of Southern people are good, hard working, level headed people. But throw a little snow and sleet our way and the South goes to hell in a hand-basket:D

Our secretary just ran down the hall screaming "It's snowing, it's snowing!", so I looked out my window, and there are maybe 4 flakes falling per minute.

Our boss is contemplating sending us home early do to the roads (ha). I live like 1/4 mile from our office, but of course, I'm not going to complain if he sends us home. It's not like I'm actually going to do any work this afternoon anyways.

Apparently Houston is completely shut down due to the inch of snow they received.

LMAO both my cousins live in the Houston area and called me to tell me about the "blizzard"

I told them I'll be pissed if it snows there when I head down over Xmas break.

Our plant in Houston shut down at noon due to inclimate weather. I hope we get it here in the AM, that means we do not get rain and I can hunt.

Damn front split Atlanta and all we got was 15MPH winds out of the N, S, E and W. Got winded by all 3 deer I as this AM, and they came from exactly where they are supposed to. It was blowing hard enough that they just got a whiff and eased on as opposed to getting alot of scent and hauling tail.
