This has been on the news here locally... but when you try to google it you're redirected to your friendly SPCA chapters trying to get donations. Now tell me... how does that happen. Obviously a lot of flooding of the search engines. LOL But anyway... if you dig deep enough into the bowels of "what do I want to know... maybe" you can find a link. Anyway, the SPCA site in Attica, NY was raided by State Police and shut down for cruelty to animals. LOL Yup, they were mistreating animals and call us hunters villians in the same sentence. God there are some stupid people in this world. I love dogs, cats... all kinds of critters. If these people would temper their zealousness they'd probably even get money from hunters who actually do love animal life. Nope///... they have to be stupid and idiotic. Here's a link to the latest fine mess the SPCA has caused themselfs. http://www.wkbw.com/news/local/Wyoming-County-SPCA-Raided-by-State-Police-139406478.html
The part of the article that I find most interesting is that the organization trys to pin it back on a lack of community involvement rather then holding the people accountable. They claim and maybe rightfully so that this situation manifested from the original desire to help, and do good. I don't know if that's the case however it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. However when a similar sitation occurs involving lay person then this same organization looks to have them crucified in public before facts or a case is established.
They ( USPCA, PETA ) care nothing for animals, they only care about their agenda and $ . That's the sad part, like you said David, if they'd stick to pets, real cruelty cases ect.. they would likely get hunters dollars, they would mine for dogs..
