Exactly.

I could be wrong, but isn't this the second deer out of many many years? I lost that many in my first year hunting with a bow.

I've been there myself, and I know it's disheartening.....but keep on doing your thing. Based on what you shared....that deer will most likely live to see another day.

Too bad you can't get a tracking dog in there (although that isn't a sure-thing, either). Everyone who hunts long enough and/or shoots enough of 'em is gonna lose deer.
