I always stayed logged on on HNI. I keep it in my cookies and have it remember my log-on. Well I logged off yesterday for the first time in a long, long time. I think I'll still drop in now and again but the slowdowns over there along with ads everywhere are just getting to be too much. Combine that with having this site now and I just don't feel the same about HNI that I used to. Maybe I'll feel the love again after taking a break, or not, and I'll just stay here.

Same here Tex. I don't find myself going over there nearly as much. All of the people here are the ones I really enjoy reading their posts. And the slowdowns are too much for me too.

If I didn't have a contest to run...I would never go back, honestly.

Some of the folks over there, I don't think they know that I'm taking time out of MY day/studies to try to run a fun contest. I've had countless PM's telling me I'm doing it all wrong. It's not the same...

I think your doing a damn good job over there. Your not an admin, so you cant make sub-forums. Its not your fault that it looks clustered as a result. Dont worry about it.

I personally have no problems from home or work and still have many a friends there.
It took that place to get where we are now and I won't forget my roots.:-)
After all we made the place what it is.

That used to be my "homepage" over there. I replaced it with this one a couple weeks ago. I suspect the new owners caused the slowdown by overloading it with crap ads so they can justify shutting it down all together in the near future.

I still check in "over there" from time to time, but I rarely post anymore. I enjoy this site a lot better even if HNI didn't have the slow down and ads. I just hope only the good guys find their way over here.:d

I admit.. I wander over there sometimes..

I'd wander over there more if the dude who was running the turkey contest was doing it correctly.

I've been there once or twice during the contest, but I'm done. This now is home. Home is where you hang your bow.

I still hang out there. Not in the bowhunting section as much, but the wildlife management, and the gun section.
