    not fake

    its not fake. IMG_0251.jpg

It was coyote hunting day with dogs and this pic was a few minutes later. I'm not against hunting with dogs (YET) but this is proof that hunting with dogs needs to be banned. its just wrong and those idiots that run dogs do not care on who or where they tresspass. they just do it and worry about it if they get caught. I'm gonna shoot dogs from now on and ask questions later....just like them.

Don't see a reason to shoot the dog, when its clearly the owner fault. More harm can come from shooting someone else dog than it could do good.

not following your stance on this. I'm the owner of the ground. how is it my fault? The dog and its owners have no permission to enter my ground for any reason. They never ask. what if im coyote hunting and set up in a fence line in full camo and those idiots see a yote that i maybe do or dont and start unloading on it. lets say total of 4 hunters on the road. each has a gun. each has a 10 round semi auto clip. and that coyote runs between me and them.....PRETTY SURE I'M IN TROUBLE

Pretty sure thats good reason to shoot a trespassing dog. Its gonna suck, but its something that has to be done so these idiots that own dogs (maybe worth a grand?) learn a lesson. They dont have the $500 to 800 thousand invested in the land, and then dont even ask to hunt it. lets see them go buy their own land and then afford the dogs too. that likely wont happen in most cases.

I think shooting the dogs is crazy. Why not call the police/ game warden or man up and talk to the trespassers first. I'm assuming you haven't done either yet?

I'm with you apb5f2 I would shoot the dogs to if they were running deer on my land. There is no difference between them and coyotes at that point IMO.

oh i did. the hunters got pissed off and told me not to shoot their dogs and that i couldn't do anything because the dogs cant read trespassing signs. i'm not against them hunting with dogs (for now) but when i have a coyote set ruined because i call in a couple of radio collard dogs and also the owners of the dogs tell me their dogs are trained and do not chase deer (and then i get the photos that are above in this post) and it totally proves that they do chase deer......It pisses a person off because you realize they lied straight to your face to cover up their blatant trespassing. I dont want to shoot the dogs, but if that's what it takes to make something happen then thats what i'm going to do.

The difference between hunting dogs and coyotes is huge. Hunting dogs aren't living on the land and eating the deer population and other wildlife. Even though the dogs may give chase to the deer they aren't gonna actually hunt them down and kill and eat the deer. The dogs are put there by their owners and the owners are the ones at fault. Shooting the dogs isn't the correct course of action IMO. Take it a step further, since talking to the trespassers didn't work, and get the authorities involved. Just my .02 but ultimately it is your land so you have to do what you decide is best.

That's a crap ton of deer by that stand site by the way. Haha. Good luck this season. Seems you'll have no issues loading the freezer with does. :)

Don't shoot the dogs this is what gives hunters a bad name. There are other ways of handling a situation this will not work out for anyone involved.

They dead!!! Thanks for you opinion but gonna ask questions later and see how that works since its the same "game play" the dogs owners use. They are not going to like it but they just push themselves around the rules all the time anyway. we will see what happens. i've had a dog shot in the head by a neighbor that said he was chasing his chickens. what happened was his female dog was in heat. he shot him in the head and then left him by the road for us to find. 4 other neighbors dogs have been shot by this same guy calming "chased his chickens" Cops can do nothing they say because he claims they chased his livestock. Ive got pic evidence and deer and other wildlife are technically owned by me if they are on my property. The second they leave they are somebody elses problem but while they are here they are mine. we shall see!!!!
