I honestly didn't need to re-tune last year, I plugged my target with a few shots almost everyday, and I punched a blue grouse perfectly at 25yds, without any adjustments made.....:tu: I'll have one in my truck, just in case, but I don't expect to need to retune, I'll just have it to occasionally plug a few arrows into. :D

I'm not exactly sure yet but I'm thinking somewhere between the 14th and the 16th. Maybe even a tad earlier then that, we'll see.

I get in at 11 am on 9/16 and Rex is picking me up at the airport. If anyone else needs a ride let me know and we'll coordinate one.

I killed my Whitetail with a 3 blade rage, MASSIVE hole and it went less then 50yards! and they deff fly better than my magnus snuffer ss heads.

Im really tempted by the titanium ones (just as I have a bit of a titanium fettish)

But, to be honest, im not that bothered what I shoot. Ill se how the finances go!

Cant wait to get there and meet everyone. You will easily recognise me in my buckskin shirt, Im the guy who shot the terradactor in the Rage advert :busted:

Well I at least got a Rocky Mountain "fix" last week...had a family trip to Rocky Mountain National Park - maybe around 75 miles to NE of Elk Camp.
Bugged Will a few times when I got there to try and meet up but traveling with 3 young kids it just didn't work out...sorry I didn't make it happen Will.
Weather & Temps were great - always enjoy my time in CO...thought I'd share a few pics for those longing for Elk country:)

The jagged mountain on the right/center is Hallett's Peak (elev 12,713'...10mile round trip) which me and brother-in-law climbed that morning.

On the summit, it was complete white out with heavy clouds and fierce winds - I apologized to BIL as I had done this hike before and views are unbelievable...as we decended not 100 yards, clouds began to open up some and got these two quick pics

And what you all really want to see...some random Elk Shots - and Will is right - very wet year for vegitation and Antler Growth!!!

The trip really got me excited for Sept...Every Day in the mountains is a good one!

Nice pics! I love RMNP, it's only an hour from my house. I wish we could hunt there, they do need to thin the herd a little!
