Thanks for the replies guys! He scored 158 gross (although we could be off a bit we rushed it) 145 with deductions. He will be on my wall thats for sure.

"Great looking buck! Sure does look like the same buck to me. That shot IS different, but it obviously did the job. I like the lid.. " I hit him through the shoulder broadside lol but oh well.

Saw him last week while on the stand and didnt know if it was the same deer but now Im fairly positive. He chased a doe and fawn down the river towards me. They were on the other side and he was mirroring them on my side. He stopped broadside at the rivers edge 25 yards away and I shot right over his back thinking it was farther. He took off a couple yards and stopped for a moment behind a tree. Then for whatever reason he came back up the bank where he stopped 20 yards broadside and I got him through both shoulder blades with the Montec. He ran 40 yards stopped and fell over. Im damn glad he decided not to cross the river. I guess it was worth losing two arrows. Was an expensive morning but I will take it any day of the year!

Good Luck Siman! I hope you get FD or one of the other slammers you have pics of. Now I have to focus on getting the girlfriend a deer.

Wow! Awesome deer! You don't often get a 2nd shot. You certainly jumped on that opportunity! Congrats!

Thanks for the compliments on the hat! I love that hat. I killed my first bow deer with it on and now this one. Gotta love it! Keeps my head warm AND looks cool lol. My girlfriend has a hat like that as well so I hope she will be able to post some pics up here in the next few weeks.
