Well it's October 2nd,also the second day of archery season in southeastern Oklahoma. It's the coldest I can Remember it being in a long time, the thermometer says 49 degrees. I just can't decide which stand to sit in. I had good luck with a stand yesterday, saw some deer and hogs. I also have a stand hung on a different piece of property that I haven't stepped foot on in over 2 months. The only problem is that I haven't seen the amount of deer on that property, but that is also where I have seen the biggest. Do I go for quantity over quality already this early in the season or go all day without seeing a deer just to see the bruiser. Decisions, decisions. Also I am running on 5 hours of sleep, I was dreaming of deer all night, hahaha.

I'd say it depends on your intentions/goals. If you're looking to kill something, go for quantity. If you're trying to kill something big, go for quality. I'm not even going to go hunting again until end of Oct since I have an anterless already. I'm ready for the rut to kick up so I get a chance at something walking in front of me. Either way, best of luck today!
