There's a bit of risk in supporting a guy like that who is ignorant when it comes to guns. It's too easy for a guy like that to get convinced to back "sensible gun control."

 

I blame a lot of this situation on the sheer number of shots it took to take the perpetrator down. Not as many people would question the circumstances if Michael Brown would've been shot just once or twice in the chest or head.

 

Did they do any toxicology on the perp? From the video I saw he acted like he was on something. If he wasn't then he had a screw loose to start with. I notice anti-bullying is a big liberal based "thing" right now but I notice most liberals are willing to ignore that quality with this guy.

I think most people with a brain can see from the store video this guy was heading for a bad experience. He thought he was bullet proof and someone finally proved him wrong...no big.

 

I would really like to see how well you shoot , under stress , with a crushed orbital socket.

Judging by the autopsy chart this cop is right handed. The standard is high center chest, now low and right and right is a common right handed shooting error.
As the target gets closer your shooting error is less pronounced.

 

I wasn't saying what I said as an insult to the policeman or his training. I haven't ever fired with that type of an injury and I admit my pistol marksmanship isn't perfect, but even under stress I'm good with a carbine or rifle. I apologize if it sounded like a dig at the officer, I completely understand how stressful situations affect shooting ability.

 

I think the number of shots actually lends itself to Wilson's defense that he was being charged.... Marksmanship on a still target is much easier than a moving one, and I'm sure with those sagging pants, Brown probably had a lot of side to side movement when he ran....

 

Under stress one grips their gun tighter, hence they pull their shots to the left.
