Saturday afternoon she was playing with a friend and they were messing around doing hand stands and stuff, when my daughter lost her balance and fell onto some stuff around her. I didn't think it was broken because she could move her fingers and wrist. On Sunday I took her to softball practice and she was pitching with the other arm and couldn't control the pain anymore. I made the DR at the clinic give her an X-ray and yup it's broken. Me bad dad,her tough 10 year old girl.
Young bones heal quickly. She'll be using that arm again in no time Oh, and a prayer for a quick recovery
She's a tough one alright. When I mangled my knee my mom (who was a nurse) called my dad who was working in the ED (also a nurse) and said she wanted to bring me in. My dad told my mom she was just over-reacting and he'd take care of it when he got home. When he got home he yelled at my mom for not bringing me in. LOL. It's gotta be tough being a parent.
She gets it from the old man. Dude if this law letting 10 yr olds hunt passes she can come hunt with me anytime. T
maybe that cast will help her steady the bow a bit??? hehe I didn't somethin like that when i was 14, I was back in action in about 6-8 wks...
Tough she Is, taking after her momma I take It? Just giving you a hard time Woodman!! Get well soon little one!!
I've never broken one bone in my body but I'm sure I wouldn't be smiling about it. :D She's a tough one!
