Awaiting nerve test. Cubital tunnel syndrome. My left hand/forearm is wasting away. No strength or coordination in my hand and painful numbness. Basically neuropathy in my hand. I dont know how this will play out if its neck related. I have arthritis and bulging discs in neck. May become a serious surgery. And then i get spinal fusion in december on L4/5. All those wild years in my teens and 20’s are catching up quick. Getting old is fun. My season may be lackluster
Been there, a couple years ago. Had numbness in both arms and periodic excruciating pain (like my arm was in a vice). As background: Aggressive soccer goal keeper in my youth and broke my back when I was younger...started having arthritis in my back at a very young age. Found a really good Ortho practice and doctor. Degenerative disks is my diagnosis, so eventually it will likely win the war. I told him, surgery will be last resort and he was totally on board. Steroids, Nsaid and 10 wks of PT, I was able to win that battle and even avoid surgery (for now). Good luck!
My friend had this. They went in through his neck and fixed that disc. All that muscle returned post surgery.
Recovery is going well, had some pain in the quad. But the pain is easying up the past couple of days. I’ve been able to walk with no brace today. Gingerly thou
Good to hear Chris. Just keep moving, hunting season is coming fast. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
3 days left in lying on my back with left leg raised. walking without the walker. Slowly I’ve shot my bow the past 2 days at my 3 D coyote target.
Geez Louis, as you guys know I've been going through same types of issues. As bad as it can get at times, it sounds WAY WORSE when hearing others discriptions of their issues. I truly wish you all the very best especially on your bad days. Then to have the ability to thoroughly enjoy the good days. I'm now Dr. Cleared for full Crossbow in bow season due to my arthritis and hand disease. I'm still hunting and still playing chess with the deer and turkey which is all that counts...God Bless
Umm, you didn’t have to outline it Mud. It’s pretty obvious. I’m really glad to hear you’re doing better.
I know I didn’t have too but I’m exploring with editing. It’s been a month since surgery. July 22 - 8/21/24
