    I have shot through the shoulder on 1 deer before. He turned just as I shot. Arrow weight was around 465 gr, 72 lb Mathews Z7 Magnum. He went 40 yards and went down. I have avoided the shoulder for many years because of fear of the arrow deflecting. My goal too is to put a hole in both sides of the deer. My arrow weight on my Vertix is 523 gr 72 lbs 29in Dl. I will be as tight to the shoulder as possible this year and we will see what happens.:tu:
