If there are any Indiana farmers on this site, please.... PLEASE... Harvest your freaking corn already!!!!!!

All the deer hide out in the corn fields all freaking day and don't come out until after shooting hours.... I am sure the farmers have good reason on waiting to harvest for a couple weeks yet... But I want to kill a deer and I hear them running around in the field every time I am in my stand.... Sigh....

Shoeless Joe Jackson- "If you build it, he will come."

Sevi316- "If you cut it, they will come!"

It's coming out here in NW Missouri. Their even getting the beans out already. It seems like a fairly early harvest around here. Plus, we haven't had rain for over 15 days, so the farmers have been going balls to the wall to get everything out. Bad news for me is that I'm surrounded by beans on all sides this year.

GUARANTEED it'l be up around my woods until December... almost always is, guaranteed. I walked by several acres of it last night that was still half green, for goodness' sake -- and it hasn't rained around these parts for over a month.

Our corn came out in Sept.. The beans right around my house just came out last week. :)

Beans coming out from the field that runs behind our house. These guys always have some nifty equipment.

Greg, there used to be a field I hunted by up in Chitcagoland that never came out until mid December. Didn't matter how dry it was, the guy just always left it until then. On the upside, the deer really ran the edges of it because it was the only field around that was still standing. :)

Down here there's some green corn in the fields.... but it's stuff that's sprouted since the harvest. :poke::p

They've cut it and disc it all under late last week. I won't be around to hunt it until next week. The beans in the bottoms are still green.

I feel your pain. I dont' get to hunt untill the 15th. Standing corn all around my property. When they plant corn they usually leave it.... well... right around the last 2 days of bowseason (mid Nov.) , then they decide to harvest it. Just in time for gun season ... horray.

The beans were only out for 3 days, and they were already drilling in winter wheat on the field just south of mine. That should be good for a late season food source.
