I usually hear of stands or trail cams being stolen/broken, buy not so much vehicles. Yesterday evening I come out of the woods at dark to find some &%#hole tried to break into my Silverado at the parking area (state land). They punched the lock in, but it wouldn't open the door. These idiots should know that lock is electronically activated, unless you use the key. They should have just broken the window and unlocked it. lol Here, I always thought this stuff happened to "the other guy". I hate a thief! Sorry, HAD to vent. View attachment 11335
They'll get their just desserts some day. You ought to get one of those proximity alarms. Not only will it scare the crap out of any would be thief, but it would also let you know someone is messing with your ride.

I always hate leaving my truck parked just off the road. Always afraid some idiot is going to break into it. Worst part is they would probably break in steal a knife hurt someone with it then the person who it was stolen from gets charged. Got to love our sometimes twisted court system.
Yes Rob, that's exactly what takes place! This is a state park and I spoke with a DCNR officer who took my report and he told me I was the 4th person to have an attempted break in on their vehicle. These types are the scum of the earth. On a more positive note, I hope that arm heals quickly Rob!

That really sucks! People work hard for what they have and these azzholes have to try to take it for nothing. Someone here told a story about walking away from his tree stand and hearing a noise from that direction went back and caught someone trying to steal his stand he just left? I don't know what I would do if I caught some one stealing.
You've gotta have sizable testicles to break into a vehicle owned by a guy that you KNOW is armed, and could easily be perched in a treestand only a couple-hundred yards away.
