Sometime between when my alarm went off, I hit snooze, and my wife punched me in the back to turn the alarm off I had an interesting dream. Allow me to share it with you. I was down on our lease in West Central IL looking for sheds with Mike. There was some snow on the ground, but not much. So we're walking around and I either get lost or jump the fence on the neighbors land and end up soemwhere I have never been before. As I'm perusing around looking for some bone I run into Realtree "personality" Travis "T-Bone" Turner. He's also looking for sheds and doesn't seem to mind that I'm there. We shoot the breeze for awhile and he asks if I want to head to his farm down the road and look for sheds there. I think about leaving Mike without telling him where I'm going, and say screw it and hop in his beat up truck and head down the road. We get to his place, which looks just like the place we came from and get out to look for sheds. All the while I'm pretending I have no idea who he is. After awhile we head back to "camp" and meet up with Nick Mundt, co-host of Waddell's new Bone Collector show. I'm still playing things cool, not letting on that I know who they are. After all, I'm not some fanboy who wants them to sign my bow or anything. After awhile it comes up that they have a TV show and I pretend that suddenly I recognize them. "Oh yeah, I've seen you guys on TV before". You know, playing it totally cool. Then I tell Nick that my wife thinks he's hot (which she does by the way) and he laughs. We share some stories, a few beers, and then I walk back to meet up with Mike on our land, which amazingly enough is now just over the fence from where we're at. I thought I would share that all with you. Happy Friday!
You didn't have them sign your back? Did you find any antlers? Did I tell you about that dream that I had with you in it? The one where a monster ripped off your head. I was really quite distressed about it.
My dreams usually go differently, but your is cool too. I like how you didnt tell them that you knew who they were.
I wish I had the capability to remember my dreams as vividly as you do. I've had some dreams that I can remember are crazy, but can't remember enough of them to be good enough to tell a story without people thinking.... "Yea, okay, so what?". One of these days...
Yeah, my dreams are...well...just weird. None of them ever make near as much sense as yours did...even though it still didn't make much sense :D
Justin was probably thinking about how hungry he was while shed hunting, and since T-Bone surely hasn't missed a meal he was down for some T-Bone....steak that is!
