The bowhunter from the NE ended the saga with Mr. sleepy (finally). He will NOT pin me down in my stand all day again..... I can assure you that! :p:D 21 years of hunting and I can't remember a more unique/bizzare encouter(s) with a buck that I've had this week with this guy. Rollercoaster of emotions hunting this dude. The most grueling season I can remember and only 2 days left and FINALLY it pays off! I'm beat, whooped, smelly and hungry. Gonna grab some grub and a shower then post some pics and story (if i dont' fall asleep lol). So pumped that I ended up getting this guy. It's been a battle with him.
See his mug, lol He looks just like Timberlake Congrats and well deserved, if we did get a vote on the hunt and kill of the year, I'd vote for you on this one. Truly one of the best endings this season and well deserved.
Like I said in your previous thread, "it's guys like you that do things like that who kill nice bucks". Your perseverance has rewarded you! Congrats.
Thanks everyone I really appreciate it. I dont' have the energy to post pics and story right now(story itself is loooooooong). I'll get on it tommorow. He's not one of those Illinois bucks:p, but not bad for my neck of the woods lol :p.
AWESOME! I really want to see this buck. I think this is the best story of the year on here so far. I could feel your frustration the times you posted, and for you to take that same buck not more than 2 days before the gun opener=too cool.

I live in NJ....and I'm officially getting my arse kicked by 2 different, mature bucks. Honestly, I'm pretty sure it's a big, comical game between the two of them.
