This is stupid. Everyone has a right to state their opinion wether you agree with them or not.

Bush didn't cause any mess, the democrat controlled congress did. If you look back at every trigger that caused the problems, they were all spawned from democrat legislation. Clinton also did very little to take credit for as his terms were under a republican held congress. More often than not, BJ Clinton was forced into a moderate lead through congressional action, the budget surplus Clinton is fond of touting....all republican action that Clinton simply couldn't stop. Some of the improved outlook now is based around pressure being let off by the R controlled congress after hairy weed's dictatorial rule as senate majority leader and his blocking of normal senate action.

Liberalism is a mental disorder, look at the criminal element of society...there's a reason nearly every criminal supports and is a member of the democrat party. Most, like the O, are pathological liars that lie when it would be simpler to tell the truth. I want the Republicans to block everything Obama wants to do, that's why I voted for them and thats what I expect them to do. I don't want a socialist having his way with the country I love. He promised fundamental change and that's exactly what he intends if he's not stopped but it's a change from "The American Way of Life" to a fascists dictatorship.

Democrats, Republicans, and private subprime mortgage lenders all contributed significantly to the housing bubble. I guess you don't remember the Commodity Futures Modernization Act? Most the high risk loans were from private subprime lenders, not GSE/CRA. I was a mortgage banker from 2002-2009. All the politicians played a part in that mess in one way or another.

I've been on this forum for along time and I can tell you that politics bring out the d-bag in a number of the members here (I'm not talking about any of the posters on this thread). If you say anything that sounds remotely critical of the Republicans you will be childishly attacked by some members here as they are incapable of a respectful, rational conversation. I have forgotten more about economics than most of those people will ever know. I've been frustrated by both the Democrat and Republican parties for along time but have been labeled a liberal more than once by some people here. And I didn't even vote for Obama? This country needs a viable 3rd party IMO

A third party splitting off from the Democrats would be like a gift from the gods.

A third party splitting off from the Republicans would leave the Democrats completely in control. Is that what you really want? Seriously?

    I didn't state I wanted a 3rd party to "split" from anything...you did

One could say the Republicans have already been split though with the emergence of the Tea party. It's not helping their cause in winning a presidential election either.

    Jk

One thing we can all agree on is that we all care about this country.

I personally can't stand behind the "do nothing congress so I'll institute a quiet martial law" argument. But at least it still shows some sort of compassion for their fellow citizen.

Also, conflicting opinions are valuable. It's only when we degrade into ad hominems that the discussion really breaks down.

And you are entitled to your opinion even though it is misinformed and wrong...

But I would rather have a debate with someone who is wrong and all in with his beliefs then someone who is being dishonest...I can respect you for that if what you say you believe to be true....

I will try like hell to sway you from the dark side...lol

That is a very interesting observation.
