Just got a call from DC and was asked to teach some courses for the military. I said I'd do it and they gave me the schedule:
    2 - 6 August Florida
    16 - 21 August - Arizona
    22 - 28 August - Texas
    18 - 27 September - Iowa
    1 - 5 November - Mississippi

With that in mind, I also have an elk hunt scheduled in September and a bear hunt scheduled in October.

Sure glad the pay is better than military pay.

I get the Trend and Intelligence analysis, but what does the Event Forecasting cover?

you must do something like my uncle. he was military intel and just got out and now just works for the military but isn't active anymore. sounds like you'll be busy, have fun teaching and on your hunts in between :)

You don't need statistical formulas for forecasting BM's.

CHANGE 1: The guy who was going to take me elk hunting just got orders taking him away from the area for one year. I guess there's always next year.

Come on, this is the military we are talking about.... of course they need statistical formulas for forecasting BM's. Especially if we are talking about the brass!

That first five days of November is a bummer. You better be ready to rock and roll after that.

If it's any consolation, the September week you were booked for Iowa would have killed your best elk hunting week anyways.

When I saw the schedule, we had a little chat about the first two weeks in November for all future classes.

Well life on the outside of the world's greatest air force is alright then! And i bet the pay is awsome, but im complaining about staff pay so...... Best of luck fitting all the hunts in, sucks that the elk hunt was canceled because of orders seems like they come at some of the most inopportune times.
