So evidently, Syracuse Univ. had players as far back as 10 years ago fail drug test. They allowed them to play anyway... and on and on. As many as 10 of them over the years failed the test. So NOW.... I say "NOW"... the University is taking the self reporting of violations route. Couldn't that .... SHOULDN'T that been starting back 10 years ago. LOL What's up with that? Do you get Merit points or Kudos for self reporting after you've been caught. LOL I can't believe this stuff. I mean, no one could make this up. And what "FOOL" came up with the guidelines of "Self Reporting" vs. "Oh crap... we've been caught". This "self reporting" was of course done after an investigative news report came out. FOLKS.... you just can't make this stuff up. These people live amongst us. Worse yet... they're running major universities. LOL
The self reporting happened over a year ago, the news report came out today. The players played 5-11 years ago...and they were caught smoking weed. The percentage of college students (let alone college athletes) that smoke weed is FAR greater than those that don't. I honestly don't see this as a huge deal.... but if they want to bury the Cuse for it I won't lose sleep over it.
WEll holy crappola. Weed??? You're saying this is all about WEED. I never took the first puff of the stuff, but dang, you're right. Probably more college kids have than have not. It's definitely not performance enhancing. Hell, do they drug test achedemic sholarship students for weed? LOL If that's what this is.... it's a lot of stink about nothing.
Haha thats the word on the street anyway. It was non performance enhancing, recreational drugs....which 90% of the time is weed.
