I'm still trying to figure out what the kid said that brought on this much crap. I mean sure the post came across a bit awkward but he did say that they figured out it was a non fatal shot. Well what the hell is he supposed to do. Go cry in his room for a week. If he hadn't mentioned the clothes the first thing many of you would have told him was to forget about and get back out there. Or "things happen, thats bowhunting".

None of this would have happened had he been wearing under armor!
The shot would have been true, dead deer on the spot, rough score of 165 PY! Remember dress for success!
    Over 4:25 for a C note!

All bets must be placed by 2pm EST. We are coming down to the wire. Don't miss the action!

No matter what kid, take bits and pieces of what everyone has said and take it for what it is! My first bow kill was a 2 yo fork. huge rack? No. Huge body? No. I also wounded a doe last year. lost the blood trail. went out the next day, looked for 6 hours and found her. Take this as a learning experience and better yourself. And for adults bashing this 15 yo, give him a break. He is a kid. Also, just remember 2 deep breaths, focus on the shot-not the deer. Focus on where you want your arrow to hit. Your a state archer? So use those same principles. Tune the deer out. Focus on putting the arrow where you want it. Tuning the deer out comes with time and patience. Its not something you should just be able to "get" in a day or two. It comes with experience. Do your best, hunt ethical, don't quit looking for your deer! As an ethical hunter its your job to shoot as true as you can and give fair chase in wounded deer. Hope you have better luck and hope this helps. Do your best.

Someone place a bet for the kid so he can replace his camo.

I'm just teasing kid, you'll be fine.

Well, about $12.00 worth of tokens and a boat load of tickets you can cash in for some awesome Chinese toys. Should be able to use anywhere. Just ask to talk with the manager (the one without braces).

Guys, we seem to be missing the bigger picture here. Hold the bets until we solve the problem. What on earth should he do about his torn pants?!?!?!

TEmbry, if it were me and I tore my pants.....I'd just take em off and fashion something like the Indians wore and cover my legs in mud.....but don't forget the most important part, the high heels!

He should have a home EC department in school take them there and sew them up. Wait what if he can't sew? or worse he pokes himself with a needle. I think he should just hunt with the torn pants as a reminder of what not to do. Problem solved again
