Haha! I know what you mean. I tell my wife and mother in law all the time you could have saved 100% if you hadn't bought something but sometimes sales are just too good to pass up! 75% off on the jacket is a sweet deal. I have a pack, jacket and 2 pair of pants from Badlands and so far it's all quality stuff.

 

I really like my Badlands gear. Still unsure about there new approach camo design (have not seen it up close yet).

That seems like a heck of a deal! How do you sign up to get those daily deal emails? Also, any opinions on the quality, warmth, etc. of this jacket and badlands gear in general would be appreciated. I've never owned any of their stuff.

 

Got "sucked" in to this deal. I'll let you know how it is.

I have used their basic bino-bra for several years and it's this best bino-bra that I have used.

As far as gear goes it definitely seems to be quality stuff. They also have a great warranty program ( you can read about it on there page). I've never had issues with my SuperDay pack, and I'm looking into a complete suit for next year... (After I do a little more homework on them)

Warmth wise idk from experience yet, but when you click on a item like the Jacket they had on sale, it will show you roughly what type of climate it is designed for..

I have this pack. Really like it except for the integrated bino holder. Great concept but if you wanna take off the pack, you have to unclip your binos. Then you have to put it back on unless you want to hold your binos in your hand. Additionally, any significant weight in the pack, i.e. full water bladder, makes the elastic straps very stretchy.

I resolved this by cutting off the elastic straps and sewing on regular straps from some old tie down straps. Although at $49 it's a decent buy if you you're looking for a day pack kinda thing.
