That does look very challenging. Have you had a chance to scout and pattern the deer there in the morning?

what if you use the train tracks to sleep in on. Come in from there and see if you can slip in behind them.

I have put a green line on the pic of your land. Is that a creek that runs through the land or what is that. If its a creek can you slip in on that or I would look at coming in on the train tracks.

If not the only thing i can come up with is if those are roads at the top and bottom of the picture along side the field then these deer have to be used to cars passing by every now and then. Early one afternoon when you have the right wind, have someone drive you there and let you out by the brush and then keep on goin. You may have to lay flat and still for a while but try to find a low spot you can crawl up to the edge of the brush on the corner of the field and hope they come your way that evenin. You'd have to be patient and may not be very comfortable, but id give it a shot.

the green line is a LITTLE creek yes... i dont even know if id call it a creek jus a little body of water that lays there... shane the lines you mention yes one is a dirt road for farmer to get to the field on the other side of the tracks... traffic maybe MAYBE 1 car every 2weeks on that road.. the deer are only 200 yards away from two major used roads.. so there a little used to traffic noise. as far as ppl, the real green part in the pic is golf drivin range... so they do see ppl 300 yards away an dont pay much attention.. as far as patterening mornings i dont have a clue really as i work daylight.. id like to slip in on the tracks but its a steep drop from the tracks to the bedding area which is almost impossiable to do quietly as its all rocks...

How active are those tracks? If they are active try to use them to your advantage - move when trains come by. Why don't you sit on one of the corners of the property and wait until the deer come out into the field to feed and then just go around the back side and try and sneak in for a shot??? Not that I'd be able to pull off that plan, but I'd probably think about giving it a try.

theres soy beans on the other side of the tracks planted.. they was in them alot a month ago but sense they've turned yellow now there not doin much with it... the train tracks are very active... i hunt the mountain side not but 500-600 yards from this site which is not visiable in the pic.. we had good many pics back in august but sense velvet droped i got maybe 3 pics of one of the bucks.. due to lack of acorns this year there not comin to the mountain side as qucikly as id hoped they would... im gonna give them one more week to tranistion to the mtn.. which i expect them to do.. if they dont i gotta make a move on them down there before muzzleloader season comes in.... i cant muzzleloader hunt where there at right now but if they cross the train tracks there 2 fellas that can/will bust them with a muzzleloader... its gonna be all or bust them out of there... its 50/50 if i bump them out of there they could possiably go to the mtn side or on over to the other guys....still not sure how im gonna/wanna go about it though....
