I watched it with my wife as well, and she kept getting mad at me because I kept calling the main chick a w**** for having sex with her best friend's fiance. Her excuse was "but she loved him!" Yeah. That makes it all ok.

 

And my wife also went to see Magic Mike with some friends, and the only text I received was "I saw Alcide's penis!!"

FYI, Alcide = True Blood character, same actor was in Magic Mike, in which my wife has a massive, massive desire to sex upon.

 

This is exactly what I was thinking? Ha! At what age are we talking when we say middle aged?? Just wondering if I was in this classification...well, minus the popcorn.

Good for you Germ for going with her! All us girls went to that movie and the guys went to spiderman. It was pretty funny because one of the girls husband absolutely refused to pay for her ticket to the movie. He paid for his own and said, if you want to see that movie...you can pay for it yourself. Really?!? Personally I thought the movie had way too much talking and not enough dancing

Between no theater in Ely, and us not having satellite, I have no idea what movies are out, or coming out anymore. That fact doesn't depress me nearly as much as I thought it would.

I believe my Fiance and her girlfriends are seeing that this week, I told her have fun. I usually am down for seeing movies with her, this one not so much, just bc I don't feel like watching half naked dudes dance around, but I did tell her I would make a deal with her. I told her that if she wanted to sit down and watch the movie strip tease with Demi Moore with me, then I would see magic mike, I figured that was an even trade. However, if your wife, gf,fiance ever wants to watch the "movie" Eat,Pray,Love, tell her no and burn the copy she has. It was by far the worst movie EVER made, I had to sit through it while my fiance fell asleep on my lap, couldnt reach the remote, and let her sleep till she woke up during the alst 5 minutes...needless to say that was the last movie rental she got to pick for a while haha
