Date night with my wife last night, her turn to pick a movie. Yep I went and saw Magic Mike, it was me 50 other women and one other dude. Here's my man card
My wife tried to sell it to me with the "It was directed by Andrew Soderbergh" line, but nope, I refuse to go watch a movie with hoards of horny middle aged women screaming and gasping at the scream. I think I would rather watch a movie with a theater full of annoying teenagers.
Well their was some nude chicks, but other than that it was pretty painful to watch. Hooker was correct, their were all middle aged and had to comment on EVERYTHING, LOL
I was wondering the same thing.......heck I may just go to the movies and wait outside when they all come out....
Funny thing is if they made a movie like that about women they would call all the guys pigs who went and watched it.
I told my girlfriend to go with one of her friends. I'd rather see Channing tatum play a bad *** or a funny *** not watch him SHAKE his ***
You should have gone to see Ted. Im going to be the jerk that asks this since i don't see that anyone else has...What did you think of the movie?
Not to hijack but it kind of falls into the same category, anyone's wife (girlfriend) reading "50 shades of Grey"? If not, then insist upon it - it will pay dividends for you...
My wife decided she's not going to read 50 Shades of Grey because she'd be pissed if I watched or read something on the male side like it.
My wife forced me to see "Something Borrowed" a few months back. Not only was it hands down the worst movie I've ever seen, there were exactly two other males in the theatre with me. One of them was some young stud on a date with his girlfriend, just trying to score some points I'm sure. The other was about as flaming as they get, sitting two seats down from me, joined by two girls who needed to be on Extreme Makeover Weight Loss edition. For that hour and a half I got a glimpse of what it was like to die and go to hell.
I’m trying to remember the last movie I attended and I cant. Its been some time. It may have been one of the early Harry Potter movies when my boys were young. I do recall early on in my relationship with my wife, suffering through movies that she was interested in. No harm in that I suppose. I do recall one time we did an exchange. I went with her to see the color purple and she came with me to see Rambo. I wanted to see him shoot a bow.
