Well, the snow is finally starting to go down enough that I thought it might be a good time to bring the 3 year old boy out to a spot in the woods that he might get a chance to see what his old man does on the weekend. With a little bit of cooperation from grandpa on some "scouting" the boy managed to "find" 4 sheds in about 50 yards...... I got a couple pictures, but the best part was showing him for the first time on how to find a deer trail, look for deer tracks, identify old and new deer poop, and not to kick apart a giant anthill like daddy (and get those mixed black/red ants in his boots) It may be a bit of cheating but he talked about it all day long.......
Great stuff and it brings back a lot of great memories in the first few years I took Tyler out shed hunting. Just be warned... someday you will be saying... hey son, it would be nice if you let the old man find some too!! :d Those younger eyes and legs will out run and shed hunt you into the ground. Tim
Not much is better than that!! Enjoy every moment, our daughter is soon to be 13,the time goes by so fast.
Nothing wrong with that at all. Heck, your one of the greatest shedders of all time, why not share :d
Awesome! This post as well as Dan's about his son Wyatt is what this is all about. Spending time with those we love, doing what we love.
